(Mobile, AL) On Friday, June 16, 2023, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) presented the LSCU Awards for Credit Union of the Year at the 2023 Southeastern Credit Union Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida. The LSCU Awards recognizes credit unions and credit union professionals who have demonstrated exemplary service and accomplished significant achievements in 2022.
The Credit Union of the Year award recognizes affiliated credit unions for their outstanding achievements in the various areas of day-to-day operations, financial prowess, and community outreach. The winner of the Credit Union of the Year $100 Million to $500 Million in Assets size went to New Horizons Credit Union (Alabama).
“The winning credit unions go above and beyond every day to help their members with financial counseling, philanthropic programs, and more,” said Patrick La Pine, CEO of LSCU & Affiliates. “Each of these credit unions play an instrumental role in advancing their local communities, and there is no doubt that surrounding areas are made better by their dedication to supporting members.
