KENNESAW, GA – October 9, 2026 – Credit Union of Georgia is proud to celebrate Vice President of Marketing Michelle Dobbins on her recent selection for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who, a prestigious recognition highlighting professionals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, accomplishments, and contributions within their industries.
With nearly two decades of experience in marketing, communications, and strategic leadership, Michelle has built an impressive career in the credit union industry. Her passion for connecting people, strengthening brands, and creating meaningful opportunities for growth has made a lasting impact on the organizations and communities she serves.
Since joining Credit Union of Georgia in 2024, Michelle has played an important role in strengthening the Credit Union’s marketing efforts, expanding community relationships, and supporting continued organizational growth. As Vice President of Marketing, she leads the Credit Union’s marketing, business development, and community outreach initiatives, along with efforts supporting the Credit Union of Georgia Community Foundation.
Through her leadership, Credit Union of Georgia has continued to build brand awareness, enhance member engagement, and expand its presence throughout the communities it serves. One of her most notable accomplishments has been helping drive membership growth from less than 2% to more than 5% in just two years.
Michelle’s leadership goes far beyond marketing campaigns and business growth. She is passionate about developing her team, encouraging collaboration, and finding new and innovative ways to connect members with financial solutions that make a difference in their lives. Her ability to bring people and ideas together has helped strengthen the Credit Union’s commitment to serving its members and giving back to the community.
Before joining Credit Union of Georgia, Michelle spent more than a decade with Georgia United Credit Union, where she advanced through several leadership roles, ultimately serving as Vice President of Marketing from 2022 to 2024. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience in strategic marketing, digital innovation, brand development, communications, and organizational growth.
Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Western Michigan University and her master’s degree in public relations from Kent State University. She is also a Certified Digital Marketing Professional through the American Marketing Association and Digital Marketing Institute.
Her passion for the credit union movement extends beyond her day-to-day responsibilities. Michelle is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Marketing Association of Credit Unions and America’s Credit Unions. She also serves on the board of the Georgia chapter of the National Financial Educators Council and Multimodal AI. In addition, she has shared her expertise as a speaker at industry conferences, helping other professionals explore new ideas and opportunities in marketing and financial services.
Throughout her career, Michelle and the teams she has led have earned numerous industry awards recognizing excellence in marketing, communications, and innovation. Most recently, the Credit Union of Georgia Marketing Team received four awards at the 2026 Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) Awards, recognizing outstanding work in advertising, product development, internal communications, and branch merchandising.
While these accomplishments are certainly worth celebrating, Michelle takes just as much pride in the people she works alongside and the opportunities she has to help others succeed. She is committed to mentoring emerging professionals, building strong teams, and encouraging others to pursue their goals with confidence.
