Fort Walton Beach, Fla. (July 27, 2023) – Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce Certified IRA Specialist Teri Broxson has been selected as the 5-Star Performer for the second quarter of 2023. Teri has been employed with the Credit Union for 26 years and currently resides in Fort Walton Beach.

Member Service Supervisor Vanessa Cicchiani-Taylor said, “Teri is dedicated and proactive in helping our membership. She has also immersed herself in the community by volunteering to teach classes at the Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of West Florida to further our members’ and our community’s knowledge about IRA products.”

Teri began her career at the Credit Union in 1997 as a Special Service Representative in Fort Walton Beach. She worked in Member Services and was promoted to Supervisor at the Mary Esther Branch. In 2011, she became an IRA Specialist. Teri recently earned her Certified IRA Professional (CIP) designation.

Manager Lesli Harding added, “Teri never hesitates to spend a day with new teammates to help them develop their IRA skills. She is happy to offer assistance and is a valued part of the EFCU Member Services team.”

The 5-Star Performer Award is a quarterly employee recognition program. The nominator provides a written submission describing how the employee embraces EFCU’s Five-Star Values: Respectful, Trustworthy, Dedicated, Proactive and Engaged.

“I really enjoy my work as an IRA Specialist and love helping our members at the Credit Union,” Teri said during her celebration. “Teaching IRA classes at the Center for Lifelong Learning has been a wonderful new way to share my knowledge with the community, and it’s such a rewarding experience.”
