North Augusta, SC – It is with great pleasure SRP Federal Credit Union announces the promotion of Mr. Andy Starcher, from Assistant Vice President, Deposit Operations, to Vice President, Operations. In his new role, Mr. Starcher will lead SRP’s Operations, Deposit Services, IT Operations Teams, and ITM Operations.
Mr. Starcher began his career working in the financial industry over sixteen years ago in 2007 when he became a team member at SRP FCU. He began his journey as a teller and was then promoted to other positions within the credit union. These positions included Payroll Deduction Specialist, ACH Specialist, Accounting Supervisor, Operations Manager, and AVP, Deposit Operations.
Mr. Starcher received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Augusta State University, and his Master of Business Administration from Brenau University.
Mr. Starcher earned a Credit Union Management Certificate from the Southeastern Regional Credit Union School held at the University of Georgia and is a graduate of Leadership Columbia County. In addition, he serves as a deacon at Warren Baptist Church where he regularly attends with his wife and two daughters.
