NEW HORIZONS CREDIT UNION’S COTTAGE HILL BRANCH RIBBON CUTTING & GRAND OPENING

(MOBILE, AL) New Horizons Credit Union held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Grand Opening event on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, 9:00 a.m.  for its newest branch located at 9154 Cottage Hill Road at the intersection of McFarland Road in Mobile, Alabama.

Established in 1950, New Horizons Credit Union has been serving members for over 70 years and has seen tremendous growth.  After conducting a market study, New Horizons Credit Union officials chose the Cottage Hill Road area to build their first-ever, ground up new branch making this their seventh branch location. This newest branch is located near the intersection of McFarland Road and a Publix Grocery store, the new facility will have better accessibility and visibility.  Construction began in the spring of 2023 and was completed in October 2023.

The new state-of-the-art branch incorporates the Credit Union’s coastal branding and features the latest innovative banking technology.  While continuing to provide the personalized service seen at their current locations, the new branch offers a more modern service experience with three drive-up lanes, a deposit capable ATM, and a touch screen information area.

The 2,000 square-foot facility provides an open, welcoming environment to assist members perform transactions quickly and conveniently. The facility has three-member service offices to allow staff to personally assist members with competitive savings and lending options.  Hours of operation for Lobby Services are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Drive-thru hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  with extended Friday hours from, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Members may schedule convenient appointments online at www.NewHCU.org/Appointments to avoid any wait times for loans and account services.

We look forward to welcoming both our existing members and new members to the New Horizons family.”

The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, local officials, WABD Radio, USA Jag Mascot – South Paw, and Azalea Trail Maids were on hand to celebrate New Horizons Credit Union’s new Cottage Hill Branch.  A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was conducted followed by Grand Opening refreshments and giveaways.
