Tropical Financial Credit Union Opens Doral Branch

November 22nd, 2024 Lizeth George Lizeth George Credit Union News, Florida 0 comments

Doral, FL (November 18, 2024) – Tropical Financial Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial institution, is growing its presence in South Florida with a new branch in Doral. The location will make banking more convenient for existing members who have moved to the area, which is seeing a surge in new development and population.

The new branch, located at 7975 NW 12th Street, Doral, FL 33126, is in a stand-alone building previously occupied by another financial institution.

“Our expansion into Doral highlights our dedication to addressing the dynamic needs of our members and the communities we support,” stated Rick Shaw, president and CEO of Tropical Financial Credit Union. “We acknowledge the vibrant growth and economic development in Doral, and we are thrilled to offer our tailored services and innovative banking solutions to this flourishing community.”

The new branch has drive-thru service as well as a drive-up ATM. Members can watch personal finance videos in a comfortable lobby while waiting to visit with a Member Service Representative.  They can also spend time at the Tech Bar and check out the latest offerings and loan rates, or start an application. Members can apply for a mortgage, automobile, consumer, or business loan or open a debit or savings account at the branch. Tellers stand ready to help with transactions such as check cashing or deposits.

“Despite the growing trend of our members turning to mobile banking, our commitment remains firm in ensuring they receive exceptional service whenever they require in-person assistance,” said Brian Burress, vice president of the Member Relations Team. “We meticulously design our physical spaces to foster meaningful personal interactions, while seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology to enhance the overall experience.”

With the addition of Doral,  Tropical Financial now has six branches between Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. It relocated its Kendall branch in early November to a larger space at 11400 N. Kendall Drive. Members can also access Publix ATMs to withdraw cash for no additional fee.
