West Palm Beach, FL (August 6, 2024) — Guardians Credit Union, a full-service financial institution, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jose Abreu to the position of Business Services Manager. Jose has been an integral part of the Guardians One Family of Credit Unions since his hire in July 2014, when he began his journey as a Teller at our John D. Deese Service Center West Palm Beach Branch.
Over the years, Jose has consistently demonstrated his dedication to our members and commitment to the credit union’s mission. His exceptional service led to his promotion to Member Relations Specialist in March 2017, and later to Manager of the John D. Deese Service Center West Palm Beach Branch in October 2019, where he continued to excel. During a critical time, Jose played a pivotal role in assisting members with Paycheck Protection Program loans.

In his new role as Business Services Manager, Jose will report to Chris Calvert, Chief Member Experience Officer. Chris Calvert expressed his enthusiasm for Jose’s transition to the Business Services team, stating, “We are thrilled to have Jose step into this new role. His deep understanding of our members’ needs, coupled with his experience and passion for service, make him the perfect fit to lead our business services efforts. I am confident that Jose will be a tremendous resource and advocate for our business members, helping us to further promote business services, business deposits, and business loans to both new and existing members.”
As Business Services Manager, Jose will focus on enhancing the financial well-being of our business members by offering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. His experience and dedication position him as a valuable asset in our ongoing efforts to support local businesses and contribute to the success of our community.
