TAMPA, Fla. (June 25, 2024) — Suncoast Credit Union, the largest credit union in Florida, announces a new partnership with ZooTampa at Lowry Park that brings immediate benefits to the credit union’s 1.2 million members, including a special Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offer on zoo tickets this summer. The partnership also marks Suncoast as the official credit union of ZooTampa.
Beginning June 19th through September 30th, Suncoast Credit Union members can participate in the BOGO promotion by visiting the zoo’s ticket gates and presenting their Suncoast credit or debit card. Members can take advantage of the BOGO offer as many times as they’d like, offering families an opportunity to enjoy time together in an educational setting with summer savings.
“Partnering with ZooTampa feels natural because we both share a dedication to building a strong and rich community,” said Kevin Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer, Suncoast Credit Union. “Whether it’s seeing a wild or exotic animal for the first time or learning about how we can enjoy and protect our natural world, we’re thrilled that our members can experience this beloved local landmark at a reduced cost this summer.”
As the “Official Credit Union of ZooTampa”, kids who attend summer camp at ZooTampa can open a minor savings account with Suncoast matching the opening deposit up to $20 for a total deposit of $40.
Suncoast will also serve as the presenting sponsor of a future zoo feature.
“We are very excited to welcome Suncoast Credit Union as a new Zoo partner,” said Joe Couceiro, President and Chief Executive Officer, ZooTampa. “ZooTampa is a quintessential Tampa Bay experience that is locally cherished and nationally recognized, and we are grateful for the support of community partners like Suncoast Credit Union, who share our vision of inspiring families to become conservation champions. It gives us the opportunity to connect people to wildlife in a new way.”
