April 3rd, 2024 Lizeth George Lizeth George Alabama, Credit Union News 0 comments

April 1, 2024 _ Redstone Federal Credit Union won a record three prestigious Diamond Awards during the recent Marketing & Business Development Council’s annual marketing excellence competition in Las Vegas.

Redstone received Diamond Awards in the following categories:

  • Video non-commercial series: Faces of Redstone – Community Champions. An initiative to recognize Redstone members doing great things in their communities.
  • Financial Education: Interscholastic STAR Club. An effort to help elementary school students develop good savings habits in a fun and engaging manner.
  • Complete Campaign: Level Up Youth Campaign. This campaign aimed to encourage parents to open a savings account for their child and build their child’s relationship with Redstone.

The Marketing & Business Development Council of America’s Credit Unions received a record 1,451 submissions for the awards that recognize the best marketing campaigns in the credit union industry during 2023. In all, 168 organizations from 44 states and the District of Columbia were selected as winners. Redstone is one of three credit unions in Alabama and Tennessee to win the honor.

Joel Guske, Redstone’s Vice President for Marketing and Innovation, said these awards represent the dedication and commitment Redstone’s team members have in finding exciting ways to connect with their audiences.

“We want our work to resonate with our members; and we want to attract future members by listening and responding to their financial needs,’’ Guske said.

Lesli Bishop, Diamond Awards chair and Chief Marketing Officer at Family Savings Credit Union in Gadsden, AL, applauds Redstone’s success.

“It’s evident that these credit unions not only embody the spirit of the credit union movement, but also propel it forward with their innovative approaches.’’
