TAMPA, Fla. (March 20, 2024) — USF Federal Credit Union (USF FCU) is pleased to announce it has hired Juli Lewis as Vice President of Community Engagement.
Working in the credit union industry for more than 25 years, Lewis joined USF FCU in January. Her credit union experience began with Suncoast Credit Union, followed by the League of Southeastern Credit Unions where she served as Director of the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation. Her primary focuses at the foundation were financial capability, community development, disaster relief and professional development.
As Vice President of Community Engagement at USF FCU, Lewis will be involved in advocacy, business development, strategic partnerships and DEI initiatives. She is a Tampa native and graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work that helped form her love for relationships and community development.
Lewis brings extensive knowledge and experience to the USF FCU team. She is a lifelong learner, earning many designations and certifications such as the Credit Union Development Educators (CUDE), Certified Credit Union Financial Planning (CCUFP), Maser Practitioner in Financial Capability (CMPFinCap) and Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designations. She has also earned human resources and marketing certifications.
