Langley for Families Foundation Zoopalooza 2025: A Day of Fun at the Virginia Zoo

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – After a wildly successful first year with nearly 700 guests and over $40K raised for the Langley for Families Foundation, Langley Federal Credit Union is bringing the fun back to the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk with Zoopalooza 2025.

Zoopalooza returns on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m., offering an exciting family-friendly day. Guests can enjoy yard games, bounce houses, a dunk tank, animal encounters, a magic show, a DJ and much more.

“Last year’s Zoopalooza was such a joy — families of all ages came together to laugh, play and explore while supporting a greater cause,” said Jerome Fowlkes, Langley’s Chief Impact Officer and Vice Chair of the Langley for Families Foundation. “We’re thrilled to bring the event back this year with even more ways to enjoy the day. It’s a wonderful opportunity to create lasting memories and, at the same time, make a real difference for children and families in need across our community.”

The Langley for Families Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity launched to support nonprofit organizations across the communities served by Langley Federal Credit Union. Since its start in 2014, the foundation has donated nearly $7.8 million to Hampton Roads nonprofits serving households in need of access to education, healthcare and housing and human services.

“Each year, Zoopalooza fuels the mission of the Langley for Families Foundation to reach more families in need while giving our community a day of fun and celebration together,” Fowlkes said.

Zoopalooza tickets are on sale on the Langley for Families Foundation website and support the foundation. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under and include general admission to the zoo’s exhibits and access to the private event area. More information about the event and sponsorship opportunities is available on the Langley for Families’ Zoopalooza webpage.
