Naperville, Ill. – Alloya hosted its 12th annual Credit Union Leadership Symposium from September 9-11 in Nashville, Tennessee, bringing together nearly 400 credit union professionals from 26 states for three days of education, networking and leadership inspiration. The event also marked a special milestone as Alloya celebrated its 15th anniversary alongside its members.
“The Leadership Symposium is an opportunity to prepare for the future while celebrating the cooperative spirit that makes credit unions unique,” reflected Tim Bruculere, Senior Vice President of Membership at Alloya. “As we celebrated Alloya’s 15-year anniversary with our members, we were reminded that our success has always been rooted in collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to helping credit unions thrive. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us in Nashville and helped make this year’s event such a memorable experience.”
This year’s Symposium featured a dynamic lineup of speakers who challenged attendees to think differently, lead boldly and prepare their organizations for the future. Highlights included keynote presentations from globally recognized innovation expert Josh Linkner, expert in the psychology of human behavior and leadership Connie Podesta, internationally acclaimed economist Elliot Eisenberg, former U.S. Navy Commander Mike Abrashoff, generational leadership expert Phil Gwoke, National Anthem Girl and motivational speaker Janine Stange and artificial intelligence expert Byron Reese. Together, they provided valuable insights on leadership, innovation, workforce engagement, economic trends and the growing role of artificial intelligence in the credit union industry.
During his Annual Report, Todd Adams, Alloya’s Chief Executive Officer, announced Alloya’s Celebrate Your Story initiative, an opportunity for Alloya’s natural person member credit unions to share stories of how their organization is embodying the Power of Cooperation through positively impacting their membership and community. The first 250 credit unions to submit an eligible story will receive $10,000 for their credit union, and one featured story each month will also be recognized with an additional $10,000 donation to the charity of the credit union’s choice.
“Every credit union has a story that demonstrates the impact of people helping people,” said Adams. “Through Celebrate Your Story, we want to shine a spotlight on the remarkable ways credit unions are strengthening their memberships, supporting their communities and bringing the Power of Cooperation to life every day. We look forward to recognizing and sharing these stories so others can be inspired by the difference credit unions make.”
Attendees were provided updates on Alloya’s continued commitment to delivering innovative products, exceptional service and strategic value to credit unions nationwide during Alloya’s Annual Meeting.

In addition to educational programming, attendees had numerous opportunities to connect with credit union peers from across the country, exchange ideas and build meaningful relationships. The first night of the event, Symposium participants enjoyed a networking dinner at the Foundry Fieldhouse followed by a live performance by three-time Academy of Country Music Award winner Trace Adkins at the iconic Grand Ole Opry. The following evening featured the return of Alloya’s Football Night on Nashville’s Skydeck on Broadway, continuing a longstanding Symposium tradition.
