Credit union employees volunteered throughout the week at the Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia, cleaning windows, organizing the kitchen, playroom and living areas. as well as assisting with administrative duties.

This donation was made possible through the credit union's Swipe4CHOA event, where $0.10 of every debit card transaction made on Oct. 17 -- up to $5,000 -- was donated to CHOA.

Walk For Winnie brought families, supporters, medical teams, and NICU Graduates together at SeaWorld to celebrate “Tiny Babies. Big Miracles.” Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies has one of the largest and most technologically advanced NICUs in the nation. More than 1,400 premature and critically ill babies are admitted each year for life-saving care.

The SECUF will work with the Greater Metro Birmingham Children’s Business Fair, partnering with credit unions and a local Young Credit Union Professional Group, to introduce the Business Plan Competition.
