This week, the credit union became the Official Credit Union of University of Georgia Athletics. Georgia United has sponsored Georgia's athletics department since 2015. The new 5-year commitment will strengthen Georgia United's presence on campus and at sporting events, allowing it to display signage and feature videos during home football, basketball, baseball and softball games as well as at gymnastic meets.

Robins Financial employees recently created 55 Christmas gift boxes for donation to the Meals on Wheels of Houston County's "Shoeboxes for the Elderly" program. The packages contained candy, games and personal care items.
The employees will donate their package to Meals on Wheels along with a special meal for Christmas day.

The Warner Robins-based credit union selected 25 different organizations throughout their count radius. Throughout the first 25 days of December, the credit union will give each organization a monetary donation to help with their Christmas celebration.

Mark Littleton, 47, will fill current-CEO Janet Davis' spot after she retires at the end of January, finishing a 40-year career with credit unions. Littleton will become CEO effective Feb. 1, 2018, according to CU Today.
