September 10th, 2020483McCoy Federal donated to New Beginnings of Central Florida (NBCF) to strengthen those overcome by homelessness and poverty. NBCF was formed in 2007 when the founders discovered Clermont had no shelters or aid to prepare the homeless for economic independence. A small team of volunteer case workers implemented daily mandatory programs of education, private counseling, and on-the-job training. They also guided clients through the referral process for housing, utilities, health care, food, and clothing.

September 9th, 2020385McCoy Federal’s Apopka branch in Florida is participating in the Apopka Pregnancy Care Center (APCC) Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser—a unique drive that distributed over 1,000 empty baby bottles to area businesses for donations.
In addition to setting up a branch lobby display, Apopka volunteered to sort the enormous volume of coins.
