This regional expansion officially begins with this month's grand opening of the credit union's 17th statewide branch located at 3280 Tamaya Boulevard -- just east of Beach Boulevard's intersection with Kernan Boulevard.
First Florida Credit Union has also purchased property near Atlanta Boulevard and Girvin Road as well as in St. Johns County's Durbin Creek area. Those branches are scheduled to open during 2021.
