Warner Robins, Ga. – Robins Financial is committed to supporting its members, who are recovering from the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. The credit union has implemented several initiatives to aid those affected by the storm.

“Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene,” said Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial. “We understand the challenges our members are facing, and we are here to help them get back on their feet.”

Key initiatives for impacted members include:

  • Hurricane Assistance Loan: If members live in one of the impacted areas, upon qualification, they could receive a low-interest rate loan.
  • Skip A Payment: Members could receive a 1-month skip a payment on qualifying loans if they are affected by Hurricane Helene.
  • Mortgage Assistance: If a member has been impacted by Hurricane Helene they can request temporary postponement of payments.

“Our goal is to do everything we can to help our members recover from the effects of Hurricane Helene,” said Shane Reagan, Vice President of Consumer Lending of Robins Financial. “Through these challenges we remain dedicated to our mission to be Member Focused, Financial Partners, Community Proud.”

In the spirit of the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” and in partnership with local relief efforts, several Robins Financial team members from Warner Robins loaded up their vehicles with supplies like diapers and wipes, food, water, protein shakes, as well as snacks and made the trip to Dublin, McRae, and Swainsboro to deliver them to affected members in those communities.

It also gave the Robins Financial team members from Warner Robins a chance to stand together in support of their fellow team members from Dublin, McRae, and Swainsboro who are actively helping their communities recover from the devastation of this terrible storm.

Robins Financial Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit, financial cooperative committed to upholding its mission to be Member Focused. Financial Partners. Community Proud. Chartered in 1954 by a group of 13 Robins Air Force Base civilian and military personnel, the financial institution now serves more than 273,000 members across the state of Georgia and beyond.
