Atlanta, Ga. (Jan. 29, 2024) – LGE Community Credit Union announced today that it was recently recognized as one of America’s Best Credit Unions 2024 by Newsweek.
To create the list, Newsweek partnered with market-data research firm Plant-A Insights Group to study all credit unions in the United States and applied the following methodology:
- Each financial institution was analyzed using factors indicating financial health, current operational performance, and metrics indicating long-term stability.
- The analysis was followed by a large-scale independent survey where 35,000 U.S. consumers were asked to rate financial institutions across categories like customer service, product offerings, online and mobile banking, and pricing/fees.
- Media coverage and online reviews were also evaluated to support the study’s scoring model.
