Pensacola, Florida – (January 18, 2024) PenAir Credit Union proudly hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, January 17, for its upcoming Crestview location.
Approximately 20 individuals attended the brief outdoor ceremony, including Robert Jacobson, PenAir Credit Union Chairman of the Board; Lee Morgan, PenAir Credit Union President & CEO; J.B. Whitten, Crestview Mayor; Jesse Kirkland and Dave Luttrell, DAG Architects; Dick Clarke and Michael Clarke, Hanto & Clarke General Contractors; Sandra Wilson, Crestview Chamber of Commerce President/CEO; Corey Waite, Rubicon Concierge Real Estate Services; alongside members of PenAir’s Board of Directors, Executive Team, and staff.
Embracing the guiding principle of Communerosity®, Lee Morgan, President & CEO of PenAir, expressed his excitement about the credit union’s expansion into the recently enhanced service area. “We’ve built a robust membership and loan base in Crestview, which stands as a testament to the trust and reliance placed on us by the community. Today, we deepen this relationship as our new branch enhances service and commitment to our valued members,” stated Morgan.
He continued, “Crestview’s remarkable growth trajectory presents a unique opportunity for our credit union to make a significant impact. With the city’s population and infrastructure rapidly expanding, we see a vibrant future for the community and our organization. The new 2,500 sq. ft. facility boasts a streamlined design aimed at enhancing the member experience with a unique, tech-friendly approach. Members will have the flexibility to manage their finances using PenAir’s in-house digital solutions while enjoying the same high-quality concierge service their members have experienced since their founding in 1936. Furthermore, two drive-thru Live Interactive Video Experience (LIVE) machines will provide extended hours and 24/7 ATM access.
Construction on PenAir’s new Crestview location is slated to begin in Spring 2024.
