Pensacola, Florida – (August 30, 2023) Pen Air® Credit Union (PenAir) is pleased to announce the recent promotion of John Huddleston to Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.
Huddleston joined PenAir in 2022 from Credit Union of the Rockies, where he served as their senior leader over finance and accounting for 3 years. He has over 13 years of experience delivering financial and management accounting excellence across local government, public accounting, and credit unions. Huddleston has bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance as well as a master’s degree in accounting from the University of West Florida. He holds licensure and several certificates across accounting, strategy, enterprise risk management, and leadership. Huddleston actively volunteers his time to enhance lives within his alma mater, profession, industry, and community. He currently volunteers as a Dean’s Associate member of the UWF College of Business Advisory Council, a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants Exam Review Committee, a Supervisory Committee member for Credit Union of the Rockies, and a member of the Credit Union National Association Membership Committee.
