First Florida Credit Union Earns Top 10 Spot Among Florida’s ‘Best Companies To Work For’ List

July 31st, 2023 Lizeth George Lizeth George Credit Union News, Florida 0 comments

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union is among the state’s top 10 best mid-sized companies to work for, according to Florida Trend’s 2023 Best Companies To Work For list.

Ranked eighth in the mid-size company category, the financial institution is one of only 100 companies in the state – and the only Jacksonville-based credit union – to earn the distinction this year.

Michelle Troha, senior vice president of marketing at First Florida Credit Union, said her company is honored to have been recognized by the Florida Trend list for a 10th time – a feat she says is a testament to her organization’s ongoing commitment to its employees.

“First Florida Credit Union continues to prioritize a positive, collaborative workspace where employees feel appreciated, encouraged, and understood,” Troha said. “These skilled employees are the bedrock of all of our accomplishments, and we will continue to ensure that they are supported and valued at every level.”

Best Companies To Work For In Florida is a survey managed by Florida Trend and Workforce Research Group and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. To compete for the distinction, businesses underwent an assessment based on their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The research group then identifies the finest employers in the region, all the while giving organizations valuable employee feedback.

Workforce Research Group managed the registration, survey, and analysis, which ultimately determined the final rankings. To view the complete 2023 list of the 100 Best Companies To Work For In Florida, visit FloridaTrend.com/BestCompanies.

First Florida Credit Union, headquartered in Jacksonville, operates 19 branches throughout the state of Florida.
