Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union recently provided a $1,000 donation to Genesis Joy House Homeless Shelter.
Genesis Joy House Homeless Shelter is committed to ending chronic homelessness among women veterans in the Southeast. For these women, the return to civilian life is very hard. Many suffer from issues such as PTSD, traumatic brain injury and military sexual trauma. They provide transitional housing, career training, mental health counseling, life skills classes and education programs that put female veterans back on the path to independence and self-sufficiency. Robins Financial’s donation will support their Lady Veteran Career Fair which will take place on Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 20th.
