Tallahassee, Fla. — First Commerce invites the Tallahassee community and surrounding areas to a weeklong series of events October 7-11 celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of its newly remodeled and expanded Summit East Financial Center.

The state-of-the-art full-service financial center is located inside First Commerce’s corporate headquarters at 2073 Summit Lake Drive in the Summit East Technology Park, on Highway 90 near I-10 Exit 209B. Lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with extended hours for video teller service weekdays and Saturdays, as well as three 24/7 ATMs.

Anyone who stops by this week can experience the new look and expanded services while enjoying complimentary food, fun giveaways and chances to win great prizes.

“First Commerce is thrilled to introduce our newly expanded state-of-the-art financial center, which is the only convenient banking location on Tallahassee’s east side,” said First Commerce CEO Cecilia Homison. “We look forward to serving more families and businesses in this growing area, including our neighbors regularly commuting from nearby places like Monticello.”

Anyone who lives or works in Leon or surrounding counties is eligible to join First Commerce, which has been Tallahassee’s largest locally based community credit union for nearly 85 years and the No. 1 local auto lender for 20 years. In addition to expanding the only financial center in the area, First Commerce contributed to the local economy by investing nearly $500,000 in the renovation project. The credit union also employed 15 subcontractors and vendors – all from local businesses.

First Commerce’s Summit East Financial Center offers private comfortable meeting spaces to consult one-on-one with knowledgeable team members about a comprehensive range of financial products and services for consumers and businesses. In addition, 2 enhanced ATMs with 24/7 access feature video teller service for extended hours Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m.-1 p.m. An additional drive-thru ATM is available in the parking lot in front of the financial center. Adding convenience for day-to-day banking needs, First Commerce also offers the latest digital and remote banking options including a nationwide surcharge-free ATM network, Apple/Google Pay and a robust app featuring mobile deposit, Zelle, and more.

First Commerce’s free checking accounts earn interest and feature no overdraft fees, early payday, a $50 CoverMe overdraft cushion, EasySWITCH technology, instant-issue debit cards with digital controls – and the ability to customize with packages including additional CoverMe protection and ATM Freedom. First Commerce also empowers generations through accounts for all ages, including savings accounts for kids and checking accounts for teens. Other products and services for every stage of life include savings accounts with high-yield options, IRAs, home loans, auto loans, credit cards, personal loans – as well as comprehensive financial planning and investment services through Six Pillars Financial Advisors, and a full array of business services.

During the Grand Re-Opening week at First Commerce’s Summit East Financial Center, some friendly faces from our team are excited to show you a warm First Commerce welcome during these celebrations:
