Community Non-Profits Receive $260,000 from Robins Financial Credit Union

Warner Robins, Ga. – Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated $260,000 to twelve local non-profit organizations through their annual Community Project initiative.

Each year, Robins Financial invites local non-profits serving communities within their 45-county service area to apply to receive funding based on their mission and impact on the community. The following recipients represent a diverse range of causes including education, healthcare, housing, food security, and basic needs assistance:

·         Georgia College & State University

·         Habitat for Humanity of Putnam

·         Houston County School District

·         J.O.Y. CLINIC

·         Macon Outreach at Mulberry

·         Meals on Wheels of Middle Georgia, Inc

·         Middle Georgia Community Action Agency, Inc.

·         Mother’s Nest

·         Telfair County Ferst Readers

·         The Assembly at Warner Robins (Haven Hope House) 

·         The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia 

·         United in Pink

“We express deep gratitude for the grant from Robins Financial Credit Union which addresses critical infrastructure needs for the Carter Crossing development,” said Murali Thirumal, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Putnam County. “This funding enables the immediate construction of septic systems, water infrastructure, and site preparation for the first six homes in the subdivision. Through this partnership, the ministry advances its mission to establish safe, affordable workforce housing for local families.”

Since beginning the Community Project initiative in 2015, Robins Financial has been able to give back more than $2.3 million to non-profit organizations making a lasting impact within the communities.
