DOCO Credit Union recently partnered with the new Flint River Entertainment Complex.
The credit union will be the exclusive sponsor of the "Ticket Give Back" promotion, according to a WALB News 10 article.
For each ticket sold at any of the three venues in the complex, DOCO will give $1 to the community giving fund in order to provide $20,000 in annual giving to charitable organizations, local community groups and the DOCO Credit Union scholarship fund.

Five Star Credit Union, based in Dothan, recently cut the ribbon on a new branch in Blakely.
"This is a significant branch for Five Star, as the credit union began in 1965 in Early County as part of the Great Northern Paper Company," according to a Five Star press release. "While Five Star continues to have a branch in Cedar Springs, which is close to the plant, this is the first branch in the city of Blakely."

Georgia United Foundation partnered with Georgia United Credit Union, students from the University of Georgia, Dalton State College and the Internal Revenue Service to provide free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance to 3,813 residents in the local community during the tax season this year.

North Main Credit Union recently donated a Kindle Fire and additional monetary prizes to the Cornelia Elementary School Summer Reading Program to incentive students to read through their break.
Students who sign up and participate in the summer reading program will have their name entered into a drawing for these prizes.

Georgia's Own Credit Union hid dozens of free food vouchers shaped like peaches around Woodruff Park on Friday. The vouchers, valued at $10, can be redeemed at the park's first Food Truck Friday of the summer.
Food Truck Fridays are held in Woodruff Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday through July 26, according to a CityBizList article. The free event is open to the nearby public.
Georgia's Own's food vouchers are a result of an ongoing partnership between the credit union and Woodruff Park that was inspired by the 2017 relocation of Georgia's Own's headquarters to 100 Peachtree in Downtown Atlanta.

The Federal Communications Commission voted Thursday to approve a default call-blocking order, which includes a mechanism for challenging erroneous call blocking that will protect credit unions.
