United 1st donates fleece blankets to local senior care center

DOCO Credit Union members save more than $1.3M in Christmas Club savings

November 8th, 20187103 DOCO Credit Union members saved more than $1.3 million by using Christmas Club Savings Accounts during 2018. On Nov. 1, more than 1,400 club accounts automatically rolled over into members' regular share saving account for holiday access to their funds. DOCO members are estimated to spend more than $1.4 million at local business by eating out, purchasing gifts and enjoying the holidays, according to an Albany CEO article. The credit union acted as a presenting sponsor at the school district's 2018 Legacy Makers: CCSD Teacher of the Year Celebration. This year, the overall winner was kept a surprise until the dinner. Stephens-Franklin Teachers Federal Credit Union members approve merger with Peach State Federal Credit Union

October 30th, 201816200 The members of Stephens-Franklin Teachers Federal Credit Union have approved a merger with Peach State Federal Credit Union. The approval came out of a vote held at a venue called The Train Station in Toccoa on Oct. 29. The financial merger, which has been approved by the National Credit Union Administration, will become effective Nov. 1.
