The LeadSMART Finance event touched on some of the 2018 changes in tax laws and how they affected small business, according to a WTVM article. The credit union recently made a $4,000 donation to GMC to award a student a 1-year scholarship. Kinetic Credit Union presents school year's first Golden Apple Award

The award went to Fairfax Elementary School's fourth-grade teacher Theresa Sandberg, according to WRBL. The 20-year teaching veteran was nominated by Simone Floyd. Cherokee schools OK partnership with LGE Community Credit Union

August 27th, 20180159 The Cherokee County School Board recently approved a partnership with LGE Community Credit Union that will "formalize the organization's financial sponsorship of several special CCSD events for students," according to a school board meeting summary.
