Robins Financial Credit Union Raises $70,000 for Local Children’s Hospital

Macon, Ga. – Robins Financial Credit Union donated $70,000 to the Navicent Health Foundation to directly benefit Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon. The donation followed the successful completion of the credit union’s annual Miracle May campaign in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Throughout the month of May, Robins Financial hosted a variety of fundraisers including raffles, bake sales, food trucks and much more. The funds raised will support essential medical treatments, state-of-the-art equipment, and initiatives that enhance the overall well-being of young patients and their families. The contribution aligns with the credit union’s long-standing commitment to support the local community.

“At Robins Financial Credit Union, we believe in the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together for a common cause,” shared Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial. “This donation is a testament to the generosity and compassion of our members, employees, and community partners. We are honored to support an amazing organization that provides life-saving care to children and comfort to their families in their most challenging times.”

As a bonus, the top fundraisers from the credit union were invited to an exclusive lunch and tour of the hospital to see firsthand how their contributions are making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community.

“Atrium Health Levine Children’s holds a special place in my family’s heart. In the past few years, both of our daughters have required stays for treatment. The staff not only calmed our fears, but also made the experience bearable and dare I say enjoyable for our daughters,” shared Katie Rubinski, Member Service Representative at Robins Financial Credit Union. “Having the opportunity to tour the hospital really opened my eyes to the importance of the equipment and resources needed to care for children. I understand now more than ever the importance of every single dollar we raise.”

Atrium Health Levine Children’s in Macon is Central and South Georgia’s only dedicated children’s hospital and 24/7 pediatric emergency room. An expert in pediatric specialty care, including one of the area’s most advanced neonatal intensive care units, the hospital offers general pediatric care, pediatric critical care, surgical services, outpatient services and more.

“We are incredibly grateful for Robins Financial Credit Union and its continued dedication to raise money for Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital,” said Macey Terrell, President and CEO of the Navicent Health Foundation. “Robins Financial Credit Union is a valued Children’s Miracle Network partner who goes above and beyond for the kids in our community who need our help the most!”
