New Horizons Credit Union Groundbreaking For New Mobile Branch

February 8th, 2023 Lizeth George Lizeth George Alabama, Credit Union News 0 comments

(MOBILE, AL) New Horizons Credit Union held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10 a.m.  for its newest branch to be located on the corner of McFarland and Cottage Hill drive in the Publix Shopping Complex in Mobile, Alabama.

The new state-of-the-art branch will incorporate the Credit Union’s coastal colors and brand and when completed will feature the latest innovative banking technology and offer members more choices and convenience. While continuing to provide the personalized service seen at their current locations, the new branch will offer a more modern and exciting service experience.

The over 2,000 square-foot facility will be a full-service financial institution.  The lobby will have an open, welcoming environment featuring a touch screen information desk area.  A detached drive-thru service area with three drive-thru lanes and an ATM will allow members to perform transactions quickly and conveniently.

The large facility will have three private member service offices which will allow staff to personally assist members and provide competitive savings and lending options.  This branch will become New Horizons Credit Union’s seventh branch.

Edith Franklin, President and CEO of New Horizons Credit Union, comments “We look forward to bringing our industry-leading service and support to this location and welcoming new members to the New Horizons family.”

Expected completion of the new branch is summer of 2023. Information about the opening will be made public on the New Horizons Credit Union website at NewHCU.org and on their social media.
