(MOBILE, AL) New Horizons Credit Union is once again promoting its Annual Scholarship Program which awards five deserving graduating high school seniors with a $1,000 scholarship based on academic achievement, community involvement, and essay responses with deadline to apply of April 1, 2023.
New Horizons Credit Union’s Scholarship Program has been going strong for over 20 years awarding over $78,000 in scholarship dollars. To qualify for consideration, a student must be a graduating high school senior and have a New Horizons Credit Union New Wave Youth Savings Account.
“We believe in education and are proud to offer a scholarship program that helps not just one, but five students achieve their dreams for higher education. New Horizons Credit Union has a long history of supporting education with our Title Sponsorship of the Mobile County Public School System’s Hi-Q quiz bowl tournaments which encourage scholastic excellence. We also offer free financial education classroom presentations,” commented Edith Franklin, President/CEO of New Horizons Credit Union.
