JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union recently received a 2023 Diamond Award from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). The Jacksonville-based credit union’s award was in the program’s Brand Awareness category. The winning campaign, called Project USPSS (Utilizing a Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Success) supported the credit union’s 2022 merger with Jacksonville Postal & Professional Credit Union.
Since 2014, First Florida has won five CUNA Diamond Awards, which is one of the highest honors a credit union can receive in the industry. These accolades recognize leading-edge ideas and creativity that produce tremendous results in marketing efforts.
First Florida’s submission was chosen from a group of more than 1,200 entries. The credit union was one of only three from the Jacksonville area to win a CUNA Diamond Award this year, and it was the only area credit union to win in the awards program’s Brand Awareness category.
Michelle Troha, First Florida’s senior vice president of marketing, said her team was thrilled to be recognized at a national level by a distinguished and respected association like CUNA.
