First Florida Credit Union Takes Top Honors at 2026 Bold City Awards

Credit Union Awarded Best Credit Union, Best Place to Work and Best Boss

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union and its president and CEO Brent Lister claimed top honors in multiple categories of this year’s Best of Bold City Community Choice Awards. First Florida was named the Best Credit Union along with being listed as a Best Place to Work with the Best Boss in Jacksonville.

“While we’re proud to receive each of these awards, there is something very special about receiving all three of them together, for the second year in a row,” Lister said. “The combination speaks volumes about our organization and the culture we strive to maintain, for our employees and our members.”

Receiving awards like these results from countless meaningful interactions between our members and staff, Lister added while crediting his team’s continued commitment to excellence.

The Best of Bold City Community’s Choice Awards celebrates more than 450 businesses and organizations across Jacksonville in more than 150 categories. The annual awards program begins with public nominations, narrowing down to the top five contenders in each category. From there, a voting round determines the finalists and winners. Winners are announced at the Awards Gala and featured in a special print and online edition of The Florida Times-Union.

The Best of Bold City Community’s Choice Awards is produced by Ventures and powered locally by Jacksonville.com, as part of the USA Today network. The full award list is available on YourChoiceAwards.com/boldcity.
