Kennesaw, GA — Credit Union of Georgia is proud to announce that Amanda Arnold, Director of Community Outreach, has been elected to the Board of Directors for The Extension, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals facing homelessness and addiction.
In her role at Credit Union of Georgia, Arnold leads community engagement initiatives, develops strategic partnerships, and champions programs that support financial wellness and stability throughout the region. Her passion for service and extensive outreach experience makes her a valuable addition to The Extension’s leadership team.
“I am honored to join the Board of Directors for The Extension,” said Arnold. “Their mission of restoring lives and strengthening our communities aligns deeply with my personal values and the work we do at Credit Union of Georgia. The Extension provides comprehensive residential recovery programs, as well as resources that address the root causes of homelessness and substance-use disorders. Amanda’s appointment reinforces Credit Union of Georgia’s commitment to supporting organizations that foster resilience, empowerment, and long-term well-being in the communities it serves.
