As part of this initiative, Credit Union of Georgia is providing hands-on education and training to KSU students, offering a behind-the-scenes look at real-world banking operations. Students are gaining experience in teller onboarding, member service, fraud prevention, compliance, and digital banking—all essential components of financial literacy and career readiness.
This collaboration is centered around Fundoria, a student-led venture recently named new members to the Resolution Project’s Social Venture Challenge, earning seed funding and international mentorship. Fundoria blends in-person learning with gamified digital tools, and Credit Union of Georgia is playing a key role in shaping its development.
“We’re taking our commitment to education to the next level,” said Michelle Dobbins, VP of Marketing at Credit Union of Georgia. “By supporting KSU students and co-creating tools like Fundoria, we’re not just teaching financial literacy—we’re building a future-ready ecosystem that connects students to real financial experiences.”
The partnership includes immersive, career fair–style school events where students engage in mock financial roles such as:
These activities serve as live prototypes for Fundoria’s in-app missions, allowing developers to gather feedback and refine content before the platform’s soft launch in early 2026. “I’m thrilled to deliver not only career-readiness skills, but also essential financial literacy education aligned with Georgia milestones. Through this partnership, we’re providing students with a fun, hands-on experience while showcasing the power of local community engagement as a model for others,” Patrick Arnold, CEO & Founder of Fundoria LLC.
Through this initiative, Credit Union of Georgia is reinforcing its mission to support education, empower future leaders, and promote financial wellness across the state.
