Credit Union of Georgia Hires New Vice President of Mortgages

Kennesaw, GA – January 24, 2023 – Credit Union of Georgia announces the new hire of Melissa Botkins as the Vice President of Mortgages. Melissa has spent over 20 years in the Mortgage industry, most recently as the Mortgage Manager at Commonwealth Credit Union in Frankfort, Kentucky.

She recently relocated to Georgia to join the Credit Union of Georgia team. Botkins is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and enjoys boating, reading and spending time with her family. In this new role, Botkins will oversee and assist with the planning, direction, growth and management of Credit Union of Georgia’s Mortgage Department. She will ensure the Credit Union is operating within all federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding its mortgage lending and servicing practices, procedures and policies.
