Change Your Financial Future Through Pen Air’s 2023 NOW Program

February 16th, 2023 Lizeth George Lizeth George Credit Union News, Florida 0 comments

Pensacola, Fla. (February 16, 2022) – Pen Air® Credit Union invites you to participate in a seven-month financial wellness competition -NOW! Applications for the 2023 NOW Program are officially available.

Pen Air sees financial wellness as a team effort. Let us help you gain a better understanding of your income and expenses while forming healthier spending habits. On average, participating NOW Teams have decreased debt by over $30,000 and increased their savings by $18,000.

“As a NOW Advisor, it’s my role to provide our members with the knowledge and resources to reach their financial goals,” said Katelyn Martorana, Learning and Development Specialist for Pen Air Credit Union. As one of Pen Air’s Certified Financial Councilors, Katelyn has participated in the NOW Program for two seasons, winning in 2021. “I cover everything from understanding basic finances, to what a realistic budget looks like, steps to pay off debt without going broke, and more with my team. This program truly has the potential to change lives – once they put in the work,” said Martorana.

Since NOW is a competition, selected participants are paired with a Pen Air Certified Financial Counselor, or coach, like Katelyn. Together, teams will create a financial game plan and receive points for their progress across categories like percent increase in savings, percent decrease in debt, submitting blog and video content, volunteering in the community, and more. Once all is said and done, the team that earns the most points during the contest will win $5,000.

NOW’s your chance to take control of your financial future and apply for the 2023 NOW Program. To apply or learn more about the program, visit penair.org/NOW. Applications must be received by email: NOW@penair.org or mail to Pen Air, no later than Friday, March 17, 2023 to be considered.
