February 29th, 2024 Lizeth George Lizeth George Alabama, Credit Union News 0 comments

Daleville, Ala. (January 29, 2024) — All In Credit Union was presented with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to the community by U.S. Representative Barry Moore, (R-AL). The certificate presented by Congressman Moore specifically cites the Credit Union’s giving and financial literacy education. All In Credit Union is the only credit union in the state of Alabama to ever receive this citation which is reserved for people, places, or events of public distinction that positively contribute to the economic, social, and cultural fabric of the community.

Representative Moore remarked, “I am pleased to present this award today to All In Credit Union. You’re making a difference in the communities you serve. Best of all, you ensure that members in rural areas have access to the affordable financial services they need.”

In addition to this congressional citation, All In Credit Union’s community activities have recently been recognized with national awards such as the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award,

the Desjardins Financial Education Youth Award and the Louise Herring Philosophy in Action Award from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). All In was selected for these awards from credit union nominees throughout the country as a result of their profound outreach to the communities and members that All In serves.

Along with national recognition, All In has received numerous state and local awards from municipalities and organizations with whom it partners to ensure that citizens are cared for and that services are available to those most in need. In 2023, All In Credit Union employees provided 5,603 hours of volunteer assistance to 159 organizations. Employees also provided 173 hours of classroom education teaching 2,037 students the basics of financial education. The credit union also donated $451,613 in grants to worthy local charities from All In’s Helping Hands Foundation.

All In Credit Union Chairman of the Board, Chalie Mingus, stated, “The Credit Union Movement is about People Helping People and All In Credit Union is proud to be a living example of that motto. We are honored to be recognized for the value All In provides as we seek to enrich the live of our members and communities.”

Bobby Michael, President/CEO of All In Credit Union, echoed those thoughts, “Whether we’re educating members about finances or lending a helping hand at a community event, we work hard to integrate the credit union philosophy into all our daily operations. We’re particularly proud of the personal volunteer hours provided by our employees as they sacrifice time away from families after hours to make a difference in our communities.”

In 2024, All In Credit Union has plans to award another $450,000 in grants along with $75,000 in scholarships and $45,000 to Army Emergency Relief in addition to sponsorships and donations throughout the growing number of communities served by Alabama’s third largest credit union.
