Alabama ONE is excited to announce three strategic moves within the Alabama ONE TEAM. These Leadership changes lay a solid foundation to transition Alabama ONE into a large, multi-branch, multi-region Credit Union that serves Members in 58 of 67 Alabama counties, well prepares Alabama ONE for its planned future growth, and ensures the very best service to our Members.

Shelby Grantham appointed as Chief Operations Officer

Alabama ONE announced Shelby Grantham has been appointed as Chief Operations Officer, reporting to CEO, Bill Wells. Previously, Grantham served as the Senior Director of Operations. Grantham was hired at Alabama ONE in 2015 bringing a wealth of knowledge from prior experience at larger financial institutions and through her time spent in the manufacturing industry. Grantham is a key member of Alabama ONE’s Leadership Team. Her vast experience, ability to adjust to an everchanging environment, and commitment to train and grow the operations of Alabama ONE’s accounting team helped prepare Alabama ONE for further growth and expansion. “I am so excited for Shelby taking on this new role for us.” says Wells.

Grantham said, “Watching the credit union grow and flourish over the last eight years and being nurtured by so many wonderful people from so many different places really shows you what a team can do. I am proud and thankful for all of the people who have gotten me to this point in my life and I look forward to many more years at Alabama ONE.”

Tracy Beams appointed Senior Director of Human Resources and promoted to Alabama ONE’s Leadership TEAM

Alabama ONE has appointed Tracy Beam as Senior Director of Human Resources (HR).  Beam possesses the extensive experience and industry passion to lead the HR Department to new heights. As Director of HR, Beam led all Human Resource activities, ensuring that personnel functions are uniformly applied. CEO, Bill Wells, shared his enthusiasm stating, “Tracy’s vast and deep experience handling human resource duties and responsibilities at Alabama ONE has proven extremely beneficial as we build out our statewide franchise. Tracy will help lead our efforts to build and guide our TEAM as we go into new markets to better serve our existing, and new, Members of Alabama ONE.” Beam stated, “I bring over 28 years of acquired skills and experience to the Alabama ONE TEAM. My in-depth understanding of Human Resources enables me to align both business and team goals. Being promoted to Alabama ONE’s Leadership TEAM is an honor.  I will continue to strive to exceed all expectations and be a positive leader within the institution.” Beam is a mother of 5 and has called Tuscaloosa her home for 23 years.

Jennifer Naves appointed Senior Director of Member Experience and promoted to Alabama ONE’s Leadership Team
