The credit union recently received a permit for the construction of a 2,960-foot branch located on Tamaya Boulevard in Jacksonville, Fla. First Florida Credit Union currently has 14 branches throughout Florida. Approximately six of those branches serve Jacksonville.

March 13th, 2020196The president of the Punta Gorda Rotary Club recently wrote a letter to the Sun Port Charlotte thanking all those in the area who helped host Taste of Punta Gorda and Beyond, including Suncoast Credit Union.
The president, James Williams, explained in his letter than all funds from the event went toward local charitable organizations, local emergency relief funds and international charitable projects. The credit union acted as a major sponsor of the event, along with Publix Super Markets, Ingman Marine, McCrory Law Firm and Sysco West Coast Florida.

March 13th, 20201239Delta Community Credit Union recently welcomed Carisa Buffington as the new branch manager at its Johns Creek location, according to a Johns Creek Herald article.
Buffington, while new to Johns Creek, has years of experience leading credit union teams in Duluth, Buford and Suwanee. She was tapped to lead the Johns Creek branch after former manager Jenn Dietzel was promoted to the credit union's residential lending team.
Delta Community has about 65,000 members in Fulton County and many of them visit the John's Creek branch regularly.
