The staff wore their jeans during the recent Miracle Jeans Day. Their payment, along with generous donations from members, allowed GeoVista's staff to donate $2,500 to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

October 30th, 201816200The members of Stephens-Franklin Teachers Federal Credit Union have approved a merger with Peach State Federal Credit Union.
The approval came out of a vote held at a venue called The Train Station in Toccoa on Oct. 29. The financial merger, which has been approved by the National Credit Union Administration, will become effective Nov. 1.
Stephens-Franklin Teachers Federal Credit Union was established in 1960 to sere the needs of the employees of the Stephens County School System, Franklin County School System and Toccoa Falls College. The credit union has branches in Toccoa and Carnesville.

Georgia Tech fans will receive free admission to a volleyball game Oct. 26 with a donation to the Georgia United Credit Union food drive.
The Friday evening game against North Carolina will begin at 7 p.m. and will be the first of the five final home matches of this season, according to the Georgia Tech athletics website. Tech is looking to bounce back after a tough weekend in Florida, where they lost to both Florida State and Miami.

October 26th, 20184263Georgia's Own Credit Union's logo will officially be placed on top of the 100 Peachtree building in downtown Atlanta on Saturday, according to an Atlanta In Town article.
The new sign will replace the recognizable "Equitable" sign that has graced the building for years and has already been removed. A Sikorsky S-64 Aircrane helicopter will begin installing the new steel structure to support the LED lights that will spell out Georgia's Own's logo on the top of the building.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed in early 2019.
