United 1st Federal Credit Union donates $4,701 to Southeast Cancer Unit

June 18th, 20193116 The staff of United 1st Federal Credit Union's Blackshear and Waycross branches recently raised $4,701 for the Southeast Cancer Unit at its annual fundraising walk.  That surpassed last year's donation by nearly $600.  The Southeast Cancer Unit, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides counseling, support and respite care to their friends and neighbors diagnosed with cancer in Brantley, Pierce and Ware counties. Five Star Credit Union cuts ribbon on Blakely location

June 13th, 20191108 Five Star Credit Union, based in Dothan, recently cut the ribbon on a new branch in Blakely.  "This is a significant branch for Five Star, as the credit union began in 1965 in Early County as part of the Great Northern Paper Company," according to a Five Star press release. Georgia United Foundation partnerships help 3,813 residents file taxes
