Team members from Georgia United Credit Union's Dalton branches kicked off the fall season with a day of giving back to the local community.
On Sept. 12, team members from both Georgia United Dalton branches partnered with Greater Dalton Habitat for Humanity to provide home building assistance for two future homeowners.

Robins Financial Credit Union recently recognized 52 employees for their years of service during their Annual Services Awards Banquet.
The banquet is held each year to recognize their staff who have reached a five-year milestone.

Robins Financial Credit Union recently sponsored Camp WINGS by contributing $5,000 to the Heart of Georgia Hospice.
This is the 20th year for Camp WINGS, which will be held Nov. 8 through Nov. 10.
Heart of Georgia Hospice Camp WINGS is held for kids ages 6 through 16 who are grieving the loss of a loved one. In addition to normal camp activities, the children receive free grief counseling while living among people their own age who have experienced similar tragedies. The children learn about the grieving process and how to move forward with their lives.

Georgia united Credit Union recently announced the appointment of Dr. Cynthia (Cindy) Salloum to their board of directors.
Salloum will fill the remaining term of retiring board member, Dr. Steven Whatley.

The new branch, located at 870 East Freeman Street in Decatur, will feature a more open, modern floor plan.

The reconstituted League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates is pleased to announce its new Board of Directors.
Effective Aug. 31, LSCU & Affiliates combined with Georgia Credit Union Affiliates, creating an expanded league that serves 342 credit unions across Alabama, Florida and Georgia. The reconstituted league necessitated a reformatted board.
The new LSCU Board features 18 members – six from each state. Each of the three states will fill their board seats with representatives from two small, two medium and two large credit unions.
