October 18th, 2019173The National Credit Union Foundation’s Board of Directors has approved new Biz Kid$ Business Plan Competition Grants for 2019-2020, totaling $25,000. The LSCU’s Southeastern Credit Union Foundation was one of three recipients.
The SECUF will work with the Greater Metro Birmingham Children’s Business Fair, partnering with credit unions and a local Young Credit Union Professional Group, to introduce the Business Plan Competition. This will increase financial education in Alabama and help credit unions connect with the students in the communities they serve.

The new branch, scheduled to open Oct. 28, offers enhanced street-level visibility, improved ease of access and a new drive-up ATM. The interior features a modern aesthetic, an open layout, added office spaces and additional space for meetings.
