The proposed merger was approved on March 9 by the Board of Directors and will strengthen the service and community impact in Habersham and Banks counties along with the employees of Fieldale Farms Corporation and Ethicon, Inc. A total of $25,000 in scholarships were awarded to these deserving students who plan to attend college or a technical school during the 2023-2024 school year.
