December 27th, 2022235KENNESAW – December 23, 2022 – Credit Union of Georgia employees volunteered to ring the bell for The Salvation Army at Kroger in Kennesaw for an entire week. Their efforts and Doing the Most Good spirit paid off as they raised over $2,600! Along with this total, the Credit Union contributed an additional $4,000 bringing the grand total of funds raised to help individuals and families in the community to over $6,500! The Salvation Army helps communities, near and far, fight poverty, addiction, and homelessness. Robins Financial employees created Christmas gift boxes for donations to the Meals on Wheels of Houston County’s “Shoeboxes for the Elderly” program. The packages contained a variety of items from games to personal care items. These items will be delivered to Meals on Wheels recipients for the holidays.
