Founded by Orange County teachers in 1937, Addition Financial has a longstanding tradition of supporting education in Central Florida. As schools have transitioned to distance learning, the credit union wanted to recognize teachers and thank them for their work both in the classroom and virtually. To do so, Addition Financial donated care baskets with gift cards to the school districts in Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake counties.

Each year, 15,800 life-changing wishes are endowed to children nationwide to give them, their families and care givers renewed energy, strength, excitement, and optimism.

Wendell Fountain served on the board of VyStar Credit Union in Jacksonville, Fla., for 25 years before moving to Arizona.
