January 9th, 202026141Achieva Credit Union recently presented a $250 check to Jamey Tyree, Punta Gorda Middle School's teacher of the month for the month of December.

January 9th, 2020180All In Credit Union employees partnered with several local charitable organizations to donate to families and individuals in need this holiday season, according to a CUInsight article.

January 9th, 2020165Suncoast Credit Union's recent donations helped establish Champions for Learning College and Career Preparation Program in Collier County.
Students currently attending 10th grade in either public or independent high schools in the county can join the program free of cost, thanks to donations like that from Suncoast, according to a Coastal Breeze News article. Students must also have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5, satisfy credit requirements be on pace to graduate in the spring of 2022 and exhibit good attendance.

January 8th, 20200103Peggy Brockman, executive director for of United for a Good Cause, recently thanked Eglin Federal Credit Union for its help setting up a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program in the Okaloosa County School District.

The program, named the Hope Squad, will be interoduced into the school district sometime this year and will use trained peers, advisers and parents to create awareness about suicide and bullying.
