High schools across the country were shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic, and it also canceled or altered activities that make the student experience memorable, including the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation’s (SECUF) annual Financial Fitness Tournament.

June 4th, 2020094This year marks the second year that Naheola Credit Union teamed up with Mrs. Kelly Gandy at Demopolis High School to provide students the opportunity to compete in the Financial Fitness Tournament sponsored by the League of Southeastern Credit Unions.
This year Michael Osmer, a senior at DHS, came in 3rd place in this competition. Due to COVID-19, the tournament was held online. Michael competed against 50 other students from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. She received $300.

March 9th, 2020181All In Credit Union has been helping with the up-keep on land the City of Dothan, Ala. donated to Hurricane Katrina survivors almost 15 years ago.
Dothan built up the subdivision of Diamond Grove Park with 14 homes to house Katrina evacuees, according to a WTVY Channel 4 article. Now, the Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity is responsible for upkeep of the land.
