Avadian Credit Union Promotes Two to Senior Vice President Roles

Birmingham, Ala. – Avadian Credit Union announces the promotion of DonnaMarie Tyler to Senior Vice President of Deposits and Retail Strategy and Jeff Skipper to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Digital Services.

“We are delighted that DonnaMarie and Jeff will be moving into these new roles,” said Linda Cencula, Avadian’s President and CEO. “They have both provided invaluable leadership for us over the past several years, and we are excited to have them join our executive leadership team.”

Tyler will be leading Avadian’s deposit and organizational development teams as well as taking on a newly created focus in retail strategy. She joined Avadian in 2020 as Director of Deposits and was serving as Vice President of Deposits at the time of her promotion. Before coming to Avadian, Tyler had more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry, rising from a branch manager with Bank of America to the Vice President of Regional Branch Operations with BB&T.

“I am thrilled to be taking on this role at Avadian,” Tyler said. “I’ve loved the last three years I’ve spent at Avadian, and I’m excited about the future.”

Skipper will be taking leadership of Avadian’s marketing, digital services, and branch network and design efforts. He joined Avadian in 2018 and was serving as Vice President of Branch and Digital Experience where he led research into optimal branch locations and new product initiatives. Prior to Avadian, Skipper had more than 20 years of marketing and advertising experience with Books-A-Million, Chester’s International, and as the owner and manager of Skipper Marketing Solutions.
