New Horizons Credit Union Advocates During National America Saves Week For Consumers To Take The Savings Pledge

Mobile, AL – New Horizons Credit Union is a proud participant in National America Saves Week, February 27 – March 3, 2023, a national movement to encourage consumers to make a savings goal and pledge.  New Horizons Credit Union will spread the saving message and urge its members and the local community to take a personal pledge and make savings a habit and automatic.

To help further the saving movement, New Horizons Credit Union partners with GreenPath Financial Wellness which offers members free budgeting resources, webinars, and debt management tools designed to help develop savings goals and build credit.  These resources are available at NewHCU.org. Plus, New Horizons Credit Union offers the Americasaves.org link on their site at NewHCU.org for anyone wishing to learn more about the America Saves program and make a pledge to save.

Educators may also request financial education classroom presentations from New Horizons Credit Union on topics ranging from understanding accounts, credit, budgeting, and borrowing. These are offered free to schools requesting financial education during the school year.

New Horizons Credit Union offers easy options for members to save through free electronic services such as Direct Deposit and using Online Banking and their Mobile App.  New Horizons also offers accounts for special savings such as their Christmas Club account and Vacation Club accounts. These free services offer convenient ways to set aside a few dollars each month for a savings goal.
